Following a recent meeting between the WTC Committee and the Dutch logistics team, we can now give the global meta some guidance on how many slots will be available at the 2016 WTC.
We can confirm that up to 64 teams and 32 Solo Masters players can participate. In the past we’ve had about 50 teams sign up and so this means up to 14 third country teams could participate provided we have approximately the same number of first/second country teams sign up as in past years.
If we get fewer than 64 team sign ups, we will look to expand the number of spaces at the Solo Masters.
A timeline of deadlines for registration of teams and the Solo Masters is forthcoming with the new rules pack under development. Stay tuned here for for that release.
