•No repeated warlock/warcaster/commander in each team.

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE WTC WILL INCLUDE A MARVEL CRISIS PROTOCOL CHAMPIONSHIP.
MCP details:
•All Models are unique, so only one of each per team (grunts follow normal restrictions).
•Tactics Cards and Crisis are not restricted, but the current Ban/Restricted list is in use.
•All models with an official release date no later than 6 October, 2023 are allowed.
•Third party dice, from well-established shops are allowed.
•All conversions need to be preapproved.
•Printed Tactics Cards and Crisis are allowed, as long as they are sleeved to make sure it will be a random draw of crisis, so same type of sleeves and all crisis cards.
Registration cost is 320 EUR per person (whether playing on a team or solo, WM or MCP).
Prepayment of 80 EUR per player (or 400 EUR per team) is due by 24 April, 2023.
Full team payment is due 12 June, 2023.

The total team limit is 64 for each event. The team limit per country currently is three (3). More teams per country will be announced on 25 April, 2023.
Total solo players is currently limited to 64.

Warmachine World Team Championship 
so what only 45min per player?
I would humbly urge the WTC Committee to reconsider their decision to put the points value at 75 for Warmachine.
This is for a number of reasons:
– In general the game is more balanced at 100p when there is more stuff. One bad alphastrike or set of bad rolls are more likely to decide a game at 75 than at 100.
– The scenario pack in SR2023 is not great for 75, especially now that contesting is more binary and likely means putting entire units in harms way. It works better at 100.
– Colossals and Gargantuans are coming soon and would practically be impossible to play at 75. It seems like a poor choice to exclude diversity in models and player choice like that.
– I feel there is a broad majority who would prefer to play at the 100 points level from speaking to fellow WTC players, because of the above reasons. It would be sad to see this decision impacting attending numbers. (Not saying it will, just a gut feeling)
– Clock. 75 at 45min Deathclock seems quite tight, while 100p at 60min Deathclock seems more on par with what we have seen at the WTC in the past.
I’m not here to incite anything more than for you to at least reconsider this decision. I will come to the WTC no matter what you decide.
