Hello everyone,
Like most of you, the committee is very much looking forward to the World Team Championship happening in August, but we would also like to remind everyone that we also need someone to pick up the mantle next year.
What we expect from an application:
- A venue large enough to host at least 32 teams, including food, drinks and beds.
- “reasonably priced”; this is of course subjective, but aim for the ball park of this year’s costs.
- Close to, or easily reached from, a major transport hub (airport).
- A decent financial plan is a big plus; everything is always more expensive than you might expect, and we’d like the community to be able to make an informed decision.
- Some people in your community/environment to help out; this is a big undertaking and no one can do it alone.
If you think you and your country have what it takes to keep a couple of hundred people entertained (1), fed and watered (2) for a whole weekend, then reach out to us at warmahordes.wtc@gmail.com. The deadline is end of May so we have a reasonable to put it up for a vote if needed and for you to organize everything should you win the bid.

(2) Meant as “hydrated”, other drinks besides water are allowed.
