WTC streaming fundraiser ends August 20th.

Last year, we had the guys from Enter the Crucible and Muse on Minis come over to the WTC and give us pro-level streaming and commentary from the event.  Here’s a link to their fundraiser page where they are raising money to pay their travel costs.  The fundraiser is set to end on August 20th which is less than a month from now.

The good news is that they have raised enough funds to at least send the primary technician to the event.  What this means is that there will one game streamed per round while the other games in the team will be recorded for later viewing.  That’s great, but a far cry from what we enjoyed last year.

We currently don’t have enough funds for switching between games during  a round.  Nor will there be live updates via graphics to indicate what casters are being played or the state of the game (eg Control Points).  There certainly won’t be any live commentary on the games.

All that can change if we all pitch in just a little bit and donate to their fundraiser before August 20th.  Between all the new teams attending the event and the entirely new meta, this WTC is shaping up to be the most interesting yet.  Let’s share that experience live with everyone around the world.
