WTC 2016 will be held in the Netherlands

As announced in the closing ceremony this year, the 2016 WTC will be held in the Netherlands on September 24-25, 2016.  Here is some preliminary information about the venue:

Center Parcs De Eemhof

Center Parcs De Eemhof is a Mediterranean themed family vacation parc in the south-east tip of the province of Flevoland next to the Eemmeer (map). This is an unique location due to the province of Flevoland was created out of the innersea around the 1960’s. It is located 5 mins walk from the beach and is known for it unique nature. It’s proximity to Amsterdam and Utrecht makes it an excellent location to host the 2016 WTC.

The Parc offers a huge range of cottages for the teams to stay in. We have 5 and 6 person deluxe cottages, which will be one per team. These cottages are equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay like a fridge, cooking equipment and a dishwasher. The parc has a subtropical swimming paradise with wild water streams and water slides. Also the possibility for sports, entertainment and shopping are available.

If you would like to prolong your stay: Amsterdam city center is about 35 km’s away. It’s one of those cities you must have visited at least once! We have a dedicated location for our tournament of 700m2 with a possibility for 200m2 extra for the solo masters. It has state of the art wifi, good atmosphere control and its own bar onsite.

Transfer to the location is possibly by car or public transportation. Distances from international airports:

  • Amsterdam by car 50m or public transport 1h20m
  • Rotterdam 79m or 2h
  • Eindhoven 93m or 2h20m

Make plans to join us as a national team or participate in the Solo Masters.  See you in 2016!
